• SUE LEE

    What’s your name?
    Sue Lee.

    Hometown?
    Acton, Massachusetts.

What do you do for a living?

    Exec Producer.

What’s your earliest memory of perfume?
My mom’s Estee Lauder Youth Dew. I thought it was so sophisticated, and that one day I would be grown up enough to bath in it.

What perfume did you wear at age 13?
Ivory soap mixed with peanut butter and a dab of jelly.

What perfume did you wear at age 16?
Body Shop was a place I was allowed to shop freely so my Korean parents didn’t think I was trying to grow up before my time. I would take advantage of the store and mix, match and be creative.

What perfume did you wear at age 22?
    Calyx by Prescriptives.

    What’s your favorite comfort smell?
My mom’s favorite past time is gardening, so every window in our house had either plants or flowers glowing in the sunlight. That left our house always smelling of different flora, but the most distinct smell was gardenias mixed with geranium and freshly watered soil.

What did your home growing up smell like?
Freshly washed laundry that’s been air dried in the open field. I don’t think my mom ever used the dryer.

    What’s your sign?
    Sweet Sweet Sagittarius.
